Shankar’s ‘Boys’ to get dubbed in Hindi

Director Shankar, who has been churning-out incisive socio-commercial flicks; hop-skipped for a different attempt on “Boys’. The film won appreciations, but also generated controversies about double entendres and few “Bold’ themes. A.R. Rahman’s musical score being a sensational mania resulted in record-breaking sales of audio despites piracy. The audio success fetched more crowds for the film.

Now with A.R. Rahman ruling Bollywood with continuous success, producers have planned to dub “Boys’ in Hindi. Abbas Tyrewala who shot to fame with his directorial “Jaane Ya Tu Jaane Na’ will be penning dialogues for the Hindi version.

The film has Siddarth of Rang De Basanthi fame, Bharath, Nakul, Genelia D’Souza of Jaane Ya Tu Jaane Na in lead role with Vivek enacting a prominent role.

Mani Ratnam seeks bulk call sheets!

Mani Ratnam's next project is in the casting phase with the director enrolling his cast members after meticulous research. The Vikram - Aishwarya Rai starrer is likely to go on floors by the end of the year. As per latest news sources, Priya Mani has been approached for dates by Mani Ratnam's office from September 2008 – March 2009 for which the actor has supposedly nodded consent.

Priya Mani's Ninaithaale Inikkum is on the verge of completion where she is cast alongside Prithviraj. She has also reportedly signed on the dotted line for the Bharath starrer Arumugham directed by Suresh Krishna.

Kadhir teams up with Bharath for musical

Director Kadhir is famous for his romantic movies like Idhayam, Kadhalar Dhinam and Khdhal Desam. He is back in Tamil cinema and will soon be starting his new venture with Bharath. Kadhir's last film was Kadhal Virus which bombed at the box office and made the director go into hibernation for five years

Kadhir will launch his new project only after Bharath finishes his present commitments with Director Hari and Suresh Krishna. Another source close to the director said that the director is looking for an alternative hero if Bharath decides not to do the project


Kadhir will also bring an NRI as the producer through this film and once again team up with his friend A.R.Rahman. In the Anjathey film function Kadhir hinted that time movie would be a musical love story. Other cast and technicians list will be declared by Kadhir soon.
