Aamir stands tall

Trust Aamir Khan to be innovative at everything he does. Be it acting, producing or even marketing.
For his latest, Ghajini , which is already created an enthusiastic buzz within the industry as well his Aamir fans, the actor is reaching out to his viewers in a rather interesting fashion.
As you make your way into Fame multiplex lobby at Inorbit Mall, Malad in suburban Mumbai, you'll be welcomed by a nicely done figure of the actor, sporting his much-tattooed bare-torso look from the film.  This is not a first, though. Earlier too, when Shrek 3 came out, the celebrated ogre made his presence felt with its giant statue catching everyone's attention.
Said to be loosely inspired by Christoper Nolan's acclaimed Memento,Ghajini, directed by A R Murugadoss, is a remake of a Tamil hit of the same name. Co-starring Asin and Jiah Khan , the intense action caper hits the screens on Christmas Day.

Aamir Khan flaunts his beefcake

Move aside John Abraham andSalman Khan . The first look ofGhajini has Aamir Khan flaunting a beefcake that can put many to shame.

Though we had already seen the scars on his head, we get a sneak peek at Aamir’s rippling muscles for the first time in the first look of ‘Ghajini’. The look has Aamir’s perfectly toned body inked with tattoos of names, dates, numbers and even a statement.

In the film, Aamir’s character is an amnesiac who can’t remember any details about the people who murdered his girlfriend. So he tattoos his body with whatever reminders that can get him close to the murderers.

Scribbled across his chest is a statement that reads ‘Kalpana Was Killed’ to remind himself of his girlfriend’s murder.

Aamir’s beefcake for the film wasn’t developed overnight. The actor worked hard to build his body for months before he got the eight-pack abs he wanted. And today, after seeing his brawns in Ghajini’s first look, many people in Bollywood have been flabbergasted.

Imran Khan , for instance, goes on to say that Aamir has the best body in Bollywood presently.

‘Ghajini’ is a remake of A R Murugadoss’s hit Tamil movie that was inspired from director Christopher Nolan’s psychological thriller ‘Memento’.

Apart from Aamir, ‘Ghajini’ stars Asin and Jiah Khan .

Celebration time on Ghajini sets

Aamir Khan generally does one thing at a time but this time around he’s juggling two things simultaneously. On one hand, he’s been promoting nephew Imran Khan's film Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na. And he’s hard at work completing the shoot for Ghajini. And there was a massive celebration, which happened on the sets the other day.

So obviously, outsiders presumed the shooting was coming to an end. But the reason was different. The cast and crew were busy celebrating the death of the negative character or villain as we call him in Bollywood.

Pradeep Rawat is the person who played the villain in the original film as well as the remake.

According to Mid-Day the director AR Murugadoss said, "Yes, we did have a bit of celebrations at the end of the schedule. We ordered a cake, as that was the last scene of the villain. So in true filmi fashion we cheered the death of the bad guy!" Incidentally, Rawat also played the bad guy in the original.

Apparently, Ghajini has been inspired by Memento a film by Christopher Nolan.
