Aish fights Rajini

On the sets, of course! The girl who has stolen hearts is all set to kick. And she’s not dueling with any actor, but the biggest of ’em all: the superstar. This is for the film ‘Endhiran’ in which she plays his love interest.

It is now confirmed that Aishwarya Rai has an action sequence in the Rajini starrer, and she is currently undergoing coaching from the Japan Shido Riyuv institute in Chennai for Karate. This school is being run by Ramesh, who has been a martial arts coach for 30 years now. 

Remember Aish as the brave and beautiful Rajput princess of ‘Jodha Akbar’? With a bit of luck she is ready for a tough fight with our own superstar this time. Her nimble fingers and slender hands are now being taught to learn the deadly self defense art.

But that’s not all for the Mangalore beauty, who has also been learning carnatic music and bharathanatyam to play her role in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavana’. These south Indian projects are definitely a demanding, yet rewarding work out for the World Beauty.

Shankar’s line up for Endhiran

Director Shankar is known to give importance to comedy in his all films. In fact the director has followed this trend right from his Gentleman. The director also makes sure that the theme of all his films revolve around a major social issue. This time around, for Endhiran, Shankar has ensured that there is adequate comedy in the film. While he had roped in Santhanam to take care of the comedy, there is Kalabhavan Mani who will be a comical villain. Endhiran is a mega budget film produced by Sun Pictures and has impressive line up of star cast including Rajinikanth, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Danny Denzongpa.

Santhanam bags comedian role in 'Endhiran'

It's not Vadivelu nor Vivek. Santhanam has been given the prestigious opportunity to enact the comedian's role in superstar Rajinikanth's 'Endhiran'.

This appointment comes as a big boost to the young Santhanam who is already making waves with his comic way of acting. Director Shankar hitherto used the services of Vadivelu in 'Kadhalan' and 'Mudhalvan' whereas Vivek was the comedian in the films 'Boys', Anniyan' and 'Sivaji'.

The opportunity of acting with Rajinikanth in 'Endhiran' might just propel the talented Santhanan to absolute stardom.
