Most of the publishing industry and fans are well aware that Kamini Mathai's biography is not the real deal.

Rahman's official website clearly states "A.R.Rahman — The Spirit of Music, the only authorized biography, will be presented in the form of a ‘book of conversations’ between A R Rahman and Nasreen Munni Kabir."

Its a pity that an established publishing house like Penguin did not care to verify the authenticity of Kamini Mathai's claim before.
