Aamir Khan treads road ahead

Aamir Khan has left the grand success of 'TZP' behind and is looking forward to the road ahead exploring new roles in 'Ghajini' and 'Idiots'. He is sure that 'Ghajini' would be one of the biggest hit of 2008.

He is doing all to ensure an ‘Eid-Ul-Fitr’ release for 'Ghajini', the Hindi remake of the South blockbuster. The festival incidentally is likely to fall on Gandhi Jayanti, October 2, 2008. The weekend after that too would be bountiful due to the festival of triumph of good over evil, ‘Dussehra’.

Aamir's 'Ghajini' project hit headlines for reasons aplenty. It was Aamir's six or eight pack abs, his personal gym, his bald look and Asin's Bollywood debut that kept the much-awaited film always in news. After seeing Asin's superb performance in Tamil version of 'Ghajini', Aamir Khan invited her to act as the female lead in its Hindi version.

The shooting for the film started on January 22. The film, directed by A R Murugadoss, stars Tamil actress Asin and 'Nishabd' fame Jiah Khan.

Raju Hirani of 'Munna Bhai' fame has signed Aamir Khan for 'Idiots' 'based on Five Point Someone' and deals with the story of three IIT students. Aamir had acknowledged that post 'Ghajini' Remake, he would work on 'Idiots'. The latest Raju Hirani film would be produced by his mentor Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Our sexy Bebo could be Aamir's girl in 'Idiots'.

Ask him about his dream project and he says it's 'The Mahabharata'. According to him, this is the ultimate we could give to world cinema. But if he would ever attempt the subject, it would take at least 15 years with 5 years just for the research work. Now, this is Aamir Khan, every time serving us a visual delight, which is a rarity these days!
