Vikram opens up on his anti-hero role for Mani

Vikram, in spite of his busy schedule, spoke to a behindwoods correspondent about his forthcoming project with Mani Ratnam. The actor is naturally thrilled at the prospect of working with one of the ace directors in the industry. Vikram said, "This is my first film with Mani Ratnam and I was thrilled to get an offer from him." Vikram also confirmed the news that had been doing rounds for quite some time now that he will be donning an anti hero role in the film. Vikram added, "I am looking forward to start working in this film as the director is known to bring out the best from actors." Well, that spells out Vikram's commitment to acting.

Speaking about his Kanthaswamy, Vikram said that the film will have some exotic locales that would be a feast for the eyes. "The songs and stunt sequences have come out exceedingly well," the star disclosed.
