Music maestro AR Rahman's fans will get a treat on April 6, 2011. The award wining composer's biography 'AR Rahman: The Spirit of Music' written by renowned author Nasreen Munni Kabir will be launched by filmmaker Mani Ratnam, says a source. The book opens a window into Rahman's life and his rise in the trade as recorded for three years by Nasreen. It holds promise of inspiration to many artists, as they celebrate the journey of the Mozart of Madra. The first edition of the book comes with a free CD of Rahman`s composition, according to sources from publishing house Om Books International. Rahman is renowned for his work in 2008 blockbuster 'Slumdog Millionaire' for which he won two Academy Awards. The 45-year old's career started by composing commercials for cinema and television. He got his big break in Ratnam's 'Roja' in 1991.
