The latest scoop doing rounds in Kodambakkam is that Manmadhan 2 will soon go on floors and that AR Rahman will score for the sequel. Although there is no authenticity whatsoever in the speculations, because there is no confirmation from either side, there are strong vibes to this effect from Silambarasan side.

It's learnt that T Rajender will produce Manmadhan 2. It is also widely believed that since ARR played keyboard for a while in TR's music when he was still a budding musician, Rahman will return the favor by agreeing for Manmadhan 2. As they say, only time will tell.
