Trisha finalised for 'Marmayogi'

Trisha has been finalised for the role of the leading lady in Kamal Haasan’s magnum opus ‘Marmayogi’. The names of Kajol, Asin and Padmapriya were floating around as being considered for the same role.

 

When Trisha was contacted over phone for confirmation, she said that the ‘deal’ has almost been clinched.

 

Trisha has given a bulk call-sheet of around 100 days to shoot for ‘Marmayogi’.  The actress has reportedly been paid a record sum, close to Rs.1 crore for the movie.  The highest remuneration Trisha had got for a film earlier was Rs.75 Lakh.

 

Trisha, who normally gives not more than 30 days for a film, has given around 100 days for ‘Marmayogi’.
