Production house Pyramid Saimira issued a legal notice to Kamal Haasan with regard to the advance he was paid for making the movie Marmayogi. The notice claims that Kamal was paid an advance of Rs. 10.9 crores initially which he never returned although the movie was officially shelved. The movie’s total budget was a whopping one hundred crores.Besides, the notice sought Kamal to clarify why he had produced Unnaipol Oruvan, which is due for release soon, before Marmayogi was finished. According to the contract, Kamal is bound to finish Marmayogi before moving on to another venture.
