Simbu ropes in P C Sriram

"Top cinematographer P C Sriram will weild the camera for Silambarasan’s ‘Vaaliban’, say sources in the know. The ace technician agreed to work for the film impressed by the storyline and Silambarasan’s approach, it is said.

A longtime project of the ‘Young Superstar’, ‘Vaaliban’ was getting delayed due to various reasons. “However, the success of ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ has made Silambarasan, the actor-director of the movie, to revive it,” sources add.

Produced by S S Chakravarthy of NIC Arts, the film is a youthful story with a patriotic theme, we learn. “It is about a youngster going the whole hog to save the unity and integrity of the country. The film will be racy from the word go,” sources say.

Music for ‘Vaaliban’ will be scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Silambarasan had earlier directed ‘Vallavan’ and assisted in the making of ‘Manmadhan’. He also helped Gautham Vasudev Menon on the sets of ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’."
