VTV Hindi is on, says Gautham Menon

The Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that Gautham Vasudev Menon's Hindi remake of his VTV has been shelved.

Remember the Vinnayithaandi Varuvaayain Tamil was a hit and featured Silambarasan and Trisha and had good music by AR Rahman.

As per the rumours making the rounds Prateik Babbar who was to do the film has walked out of the project and Amy Jackson has no clue about emoting the way required in Indian films.

When contacted Gautham told sify.com: "The film has not been shelved. We are taking a break as Prateik Babbar is busy with the promotions of his Aamir Khan produced Kiran Rao directed Dhobhi Ghat, which is releasing in January. Amy Jackson was in India for a month during which she attended special Hindi coaching classes and will come back once we firm up the shooting dates."
