Yuvan And Mani Rathnam For A Period Flick?

If reports are to be believed, Mani Ratnam may soon wield the megaphone for a period flick. Sources say that the talented director has already set the ball rolling for this venture and it may go on floors quite soon.

The next big question regarding this project is – who will score the music? AR Rahman and Mani Ratnam are the best combination who have produced some excellent chatrt busters together. But with the Oscar winning musician busy in the international sphere it seems doubtful if he would join Mani’s camp for this period film.

With Yuvan Shankar Raja expressing his long-pending desire to score music for a period film, will Mani sign him up?
