AR Rahman to compose music for ‘Randaamoozham’

Big news for AR Rahman fans in Kerala. The maestro music director, who debuted in movies with the 1992 Malayalam film Yodha, is set to return to Mollywood. He will join hands with director Hariharan for the mega budget film, Randaamoozham, which will go on floors in 2012. MT Vasudevan Nair has penned the screenplay, which is based on one of his most celebrated novels by the same name. Randaamoozham will see superstar Mohanlal playing the role of Bheema, the Pandava while Mammoottyis touted to play his arch nemesis, Duryodhan in the film. The film speaks about the epic Mahabharat from the viewpoint of Bheem. Director Hariharan is reportedly keen to bring in the best of technicians from Hollywood for the film which is set to go on floors early January, 2012.
