ARR to compose music for Randamoozham

While much acclaimed director Hariharan, maker ofPazhassi Raja, is all set to commence the shooting of his ambitious Malayalam film Randamoozham by 2012 mid, it is now heard that music maestro A.R. Rahman will compose music for this proposed flick, written by M.T. Vasudevan Nair.

If it happens, this would be A.R. Rahman's second Malayalam film after Yodha (1992). The costliest film ever in the history of Malayalam cinema, Randamoozham tells the story of Mahabharata from Bheema's perspective. According to sources, MT is now giving finishing touches to the script.

Reportedly, Mohanlal will play Bheema, while Mammootty will play a significant role inRandamoozham, produced by Gokulam Gopalan who produced Pazhassi Raja.
