Bafta bestowed upon A.R. Rahman

Latest in the award winning spree, A.R. Rahman has bagged the Bafta Award for the best music composition for Slumdog Millionaire. Other awards that the film bagged, making a clean sweep at the Baftas, are Best Director Danny Boyle, best cinematography Anthony Dod Mantle, best adapted screenplay Simon Beaufoy, best

editing Chris Dickens, and best sound editing Resul Pookutty. With the film is going on to win several prestigious awards, it needs to be seen how it fares at the much expected Oscars later this month.
