Rajini to begin Sultan

SUPERSTAR Rajinikanth will finally begin work for his daughter’s production Sultan The Warrior.

Sultan The Warrior is a 3-D animation flick with Rajinikanth in the lead. This is being directed and produced by his younger daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth, MD, Ocher Studios.

The movie has been under production and a team of 30 people, including stunt master Peter Haynes, had left for Vietnam to shoot certain action portions of the film.

They have returned now and the team is all set to have Rajini begin his part of shooting for the movie. The actor, along with the movie’s crew, will fly to Hyderabad next week, where important scenes involving him, will be shot at a Motion Capture Studio. Rajini will act out his portion and that will later be animated.

Shooting for the movie is on at a brisk pace and Sultan the Warrior will be an April 2009 release.

The music has five songs, composed by AR Rahman and the audio is expected to be launched in February next year.
